We stayed in St. Louis and felt like venturing out. We found Saint Charles, which is beautiful and tucked away is Louis and Clark’s. Such a quaint area, the restaurant looked to be three stories, offering multiple dining rooms, a Bar, and an inside and outside patio seating. we were greeted with a smile and sat on an inside patio, which had a view of the water. We started off with a half order of the ravioli, which was fried with a side of marinara. They were perfectly cooked and delicious. We decided to get some sandwiches. My wife ordered a French dip and I got a creole blackened chicken sandwich with a side of red beans and creole rice, everything was cooked very well and tasted amazing. My only feedback is the pricing is slightly high for what you get. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area.
A solid meal every time, with great service. Their sandwiches are our favorite when my wife and I go here. The potato skins are a good portion, nice and crispy, with plenty of bacon and cheese! The Potato soup is amazing! I have been here a number of times and have never had a meal that I didnt like. I enjoy the atmosphere and the service has always been friendly and attentive every time. Our glasses are always full!
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We started with the fried mushrooms and they were very good. I had the gumbo and eggplant sandwich. The gumbo was not a traditional gumbo but it was good. The eggplant was crispy and tasty. The area surrounding the restaurant is full of interesting shops and landmarks.
Very lovely! This was our first time to this beautiful place. We had a blackened Cajun chicken sandwich, the Riverwalk sandwich, and a bacon cheeseburger. The place was busy (Saturday) and we only waited maybe 2 minutes for a table. Nina was our server and she did a lovely job. Great food, beautiful atmosphere and a lovely lunch. (Yummy fries to boot). Thank you for a wonderful experience.
