I love the Hair Saloon & it is so much more than just a place to get your haircut. The environment is excellent and the Barbers are top notch, plus their products are awesome as well. My son and I go here and get Dapper every time.
We will continue to go to Hair Saloon for both my husband and kids haircuts! Jen is always awesome. She asks questions and listens to make sure her clients get exactly the cut they want, and she’s always so nice and personable!
I almost always have a great experience at this location, but my most recent visit was an unfortunate exception. I've been working long hours for the past few months and admittedly, had let my hair go an extra 2-3 weeks, but I was excited to get it cleaned up. My visits to the Hair Saloon are some of the only "self-care" I afford myself, so I was taken aback at how unwelcoming the environment was. The person at the front desk barely looked up from their monitor to check me in and half-heartedly offered me a drink. I don't have a stylist preference but booked with Sara on the website. I have no idea who actually cut my hair because there was no introduction, and her nametag was nowhere to be found. The cut turned out great, although there was zero conversation other than being more-or-less scolded for letting it go too long. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but the staff made me feel like I was inconveniencing them the entire time I was there. I declined the post-cut shampoo just so I could get out of there. She cleaned me up really well, but if I wanted someone to make me feel bad about myself during a haircut, I'd let my wife do it. This location is typically great, but it might be time to find another barber.
They canceled the appointment without notifying me. I wasted my time but I was not served. They spoke very rudely, did not apologize, did not want to help me and solve the situation. I spoke with an employee named Jordan. Several times I asked her to at least apologize to me for the fact that they were mistaken. She only laughed in response and advised me to find another salon.
Went in for a straight razor shave yesterday. Stylist missed numerous spots, nicked my neck by sawing back and forth with electric clippers, and this morning I awoke to horrible shaving irritation and scars on left cheek. Not at all worth $35, was disappointed. Staff were friendly and free beverage was cool, but butchered my face.
