Our chocolate lab, Theo, had a digging accident that wounded his leg deeply. We waited longer than we should have to seek attention thinking we could heal it at home. The entire team took excellent care of Theo, explaining what needed done and without judgment. They all were very friendly and warm to me & to Theo. He was stitched up as good as new. We’ll definitely be back for all our veterinary needs.
From my first visit with Dr Rachel my extremely nervous dog was comfortable. My dog always shakes all over on visiting a vet. By the time we left Roxy was wagging her tail. Roxy was diagnosed with fast growing cancer and we will have to loose her this week but Dr Rachel and the staff have been very supportive. Thank you,
Dr. Sullivan is a wonderful veterinarian! I started seeing Dr. Sullivan when he took over the practice from Dr. King at First Capitol Animal Hospital. Dr. Sullivan is kind, caring, and most importantly very knowledgeable on the cats and dog I have brought in. He is gentle and soothing with the animals. He takes the time to explain everything to you and ensure you have what you need to best care for you pet. You don’t feel rushed out the door with Dr. Sullivan. He is also honest, if he hasn’t seen something before, he will research and find the best course of action to take. I unfortunately had to have my Pomeranian, Cinnamon, put down late last year. Dr. Sullivan was kind, gentle, and so very sympathetic to the situation. He explained how everything would go and then allowed me to be alone with Cinnamon as she passed. At no point was I rushed, and when I was ready to leave I let the staff know. It has always been a pleasant experience working with Dr. Sullivan and his staff.
