I asked Maris to replace the siding on my house. The product was Alside's new composite fiber vinyl siding 'Ascend'. I also obtained a quote from a company offering the Hardiplank product from James Hardie. Both quotes were within $1,000 so I went with the Ascend and Maris. Sadly, COVID has had an impact on supply chains everywhere and the product arrived 6 weeks later than expected. I think perhaps Maris could have been a little more proactive in letting me know of the delay, but that's the only really negative comment I can offer. The team they subcontracted to do the work were punctual and hard working. They worked 7 days, 12 hours a day. At the end of each day they cleaned the site thoroughly of loose nails and other material. I am rather difficult to work with as I do like things done the way I want them done. Maris and the subcontractors had some initial miscommunication around the 3" border I had asked for around the windows, but after I pointed out the issue they were very accommodating and actually pulled down a large section of the siding they had already put up in order to meet the contract specifications. There were a few additional challenges (including working around an existing pergola), but they handled my requests professionally and the outcome always exceeded my expectations. Overall, the quality of the work was excellent. Nothing ever goes perfectly in a job this large, but I couldn't be happier. As with all things, it's always better to regularly monitor progress so you end up satisfied with the final product. Despite the slightly critical comments I've just made, Maris exceeded my expectations. I would thoroughly recommend them for your next siding project.
From the first meeting with our salesmen, until our deck was completed, the customer service was superb. We were called when we were told we’d be called, people showed up when they said they would, and each person we dealt with was professional and kind. Our new deck is gorgeous. We went with the 25 year warranty composite. It was a little higher in price, but I am so happy we did. It is very sturdy, and looks so good. I would recommend Maris to anyone of our family and friends.
We could not be happier with Maris. From start to finish every aspect of working with Maris was amazing. We had a new composite deck, fence, and windows installed. The Maris team communicated with us through each step. Each team that installed these items were beyond professional. The installers were on time, friendly, and they made sure every aspect of what they were installing was correct. They also left our yard spotless nothing no scraps or nails were left behind. The cost of the improvements was fair. Each project cost was explained in detail. There was no upselling or forceful sales. There are many horror stories of working with contractors I am happy to say Maris conducts business the right way. For any future home improvements we will only be using Maris.
Maris is A-1 in our book! We had two large windows added to our family room last month by Kevin and Brian. Their knowledge, customer service and level of craftsmanship is to be commended! The windows simply look wonderful! From the initial meeting with sales, calls with the scheduling team and through the installation process we were impressed with the well coordinated efforts. I would recommend Maris for your home improvement projects!
Maris did bathroom update and remodel. It is wonderful! The workmanship is spot on. They were knowledgeable, professional, and patient with all questions. Always on time. The work exceeded my expectations. Working with the office staff was calming. Maris puts all the rumors about construction work to silence. I was contacted with any delays. I never called without hanging up with a smile. The only reason I give them five (5) stars is because the rating does not go any higher! Highly recommend.
