When I need to purchase home improvements I usually call Dalco. I've used their services several times, and I have recommended them to my neighbors who have used their services as well
It's all about the money with them to me, not building life relationships that will keep you coming back. The quality was not as good as I thought that it would be for the price and the hype around their reputation! The photos speak for themselves!
We had a very positive experience working with Dalco for several recent home projects: new roof, replaced a sliding door, and had siding installed in areas that were painted wood (the rest of the house is brick). Doug was our sales/project manager and he was great to work with. Our selection and installation process was long due the fact that we were also having a patio installed (different builder). It was important for the projects to go in a certain order and Doug/Dalco were accommodating to those needs without any issue. We had several bids for the projects and Dalco provided the best value.
I was so excited to start the process of remodeling our Ferguson home. 3,800 sq ft 7 bed rooms 4 bathrooms. We got our estimate for the windows with no problem. Then when it came to the kitchen and bathroom remodel estimate I was extremely disappointed. The contractor called the day before my estimate and stated that he has done his research on my home and stated that I had plastered walls and they don’t work within homes with plaster. I stated that I don’t have plaster anywhere in my home but he insisted that I did. RED FLAG…. At this point I don’t want your business since you won’t even listen or believe me. Then he goes on to state how expensive it will be to do all the work I wanted as if I’m not aware or can’t afford it. I ended the call and immediately called another company that came out and confirmed that I don’t have plaster in my home. Needless to say, we won’t be getting new windows or updating our kitchen and bathrooms with Dalco. So disappointing because you all were our first choice. We just feel like we have been dismissed.
This is a great local company that provides high quality products and exceptional service! I had them install new windows on my home. The windows are awesome, the installer was professional/attentive to detail/and efficient. They stand behind their products with a lifetime warranty and the windows look great. My neighbors have used them as well and have been very pleased with their windows and doors.
